We definitely were forced to burn our man-cards for this one! This song was written and recorded for the soundtrack of an upcoming animated movie (which cannot be identifed for NDA/legal reasons) by a well-known movie production company (also about which we cannot speak). These are the only instructions we were provided when we were "invited" to write this song: 1) Movie will be an animated motion picture 2) Movie will target a largely teenage, female audience 3) Movie theme is about a girl struggling over a recent breakup with a boy 4) Movie will have a positive vibe/message. That's it! From that we had to get creative and push ourselves outside our normally prog-rock concentrated comfort zones. Hopefully we will earn our man-cards back one day soon. We're thinking our next tune will very likely be something from the thrash metal genre :)
